Job Title: Issues Management Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL 33610 (Hybrid 2 days onsite)
Duration: 06+ months’ Contract
They are focused on ICRM - issues management. Most often have to PM their way through it: working on policies, procedures & documentation. Track issues moving through issues lifecycle. They work w/ issues managers and take an advisory role at times. This person will come in to help backfill someone going out on maternity leave. Will help the team w/ BAU issues. Consulting background is OK due to temp nature of the role.
ROLE:
- Helping on oversight governance routines, program management, and supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
- Responsibilities include working with issue owners, monitoring of MCA, quality assurance (QA) of issues, and impact analysis for control mapping.
- Provide a certain level of support to the team
- They have a lot of resources& documentation on how the issues lifecycle works – consult quick reference guides, do some online training, along w/ project-specific background information to get up to speed quickly. Team is super supportive but busy.
MUST HAVE:
6-10 years of experience with Issues management– understand compliance, risk compliance, etc.
Familiarity with RCSM/MCA – able to execute MCA tasks (nothing too in-depth)
Doesn’t need reporting or data analysis background
Bachelor’s or relevant experience
Abe to work efficiently, not afraid to ask questions, able to jump in quickly
Need to be able to provide a certain level of support without too much hand-holding
Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, delivering and maintaining best-in-class Compliance Issues Management programs, policies and practices for ICRM. ( Internal Control and Risk Management (ICRM) Framework)
Work with Management on governance and the facilitation of the execution of the ICRM Issues Management Program.
Accountable for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Global Issues Management Policy, Standard, Procedure, along with the ICRM Issues Management Procedure and other internal processes.
Conduct deep dives and analysis across the issues management space
Ensure the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommend holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
Support management in the review and challenge process, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.?
Responsible that adequate governance and training are in place to support the Issues Management program.
Take ownership to ensure that issues management responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within each area across ICRM, including providing training and leading by example.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
Advanced knowledge of Issues Management
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Expertise of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies;
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive;
Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
